But forgetting the Wiesmann GT would be a cardinal sin and capital offense, because the niche-market sportscar is among the most tantalizing on the road. While the design may be decidedly old-school, Wiesmann works tirelessly to keep it fresh with successive updates to propel this time-machine well past the requisite 88 miles per hour and out from the past and into the present.

Here in Geneva, Tesla has teamed up with Tag Heuer to create a limited edition run of Roadsters created in conjunction with the automaker’s chief designer Franz on Holzhausen and the Swiss time piece purveyors. Not only does the slate grey Roadster sport custom graphics and contrasting colors (one side has red mirrors, calipers and matching wheel rings, while the other side has the same kit colored green), but the interior houses a one-fifth second Heuer limited edition stopwatch, a Meridiist mobile phone and will come equipped with a concept watch due to be unveiled at the Baselworld expo later this month.

I got an email today from Corvette Racing announcing they are starting a video series to document the team through the 2010 American Le Mans Series and the 24 Hours of Le Mans. The preview video as you will see is very well-done and now I am even more fired up for the first race of the season later this month at Sebring.
